.bashrc
Given below is my .bashrc file. As I deal with a lot of venvs, I have a set
of functions that help me to manage my venvs. I can list the venvs using
venv_ls and activate any venv using venv_activate function.
export BASH_SILENCE_DEPRECATION_WARNING=1
set -o vi
export EDITOR=vim
export PS1='[\u@\h \w]\n$ '
# List all venvs
function venv_ls() {
ls -1 ~/mydata/venv | awk -F/ "{print $NF;}"
}
# Activate a specific venv.
function venv_activate() {
if [[ ! -d ~/mydata/venv/$1 ]] ; then
echo "venv [$1] does not exist."
return

source ~/mydata/venv/$1/bin/activate
}
